Kiwanis Secretary, Andy Anderson, has adopted the Linus Project which was originally started by a past Lt. Governor's wife as his inspiration. Andy feels very strong about this project. Andy has accepted the responsibility of the collection, cleaning and distribution of collected blankets. Andy and some of the Kiwanis members of Stephenville donate these blankets to area fire departments, area police departments, sheriff's department and Dept. of Child Protective Services. These blankets are given to children that have been thru a traumatic experience for comfort and to let them know that we care. Great job, Andy! (Photo shows Andy on left)

In memory of our beloved friend and past-Kiwanis member, Dr. Carl Phillips
Our beloved friend, Carl Phillips, passed away in early 2006. He was a fine example of a christian man and the Stephenville Kiwanis Club is proud to have had Carl in our club. We miss you, Carl. Photo shows Carl with the top five female finishers in the 2005 Firecracker 100 (100 km) Bike Race. Carl was 98 years old at the time of his death and still quite active in our club and the Erath County Habitat for Humanity.
